birds taking off next to church’s towers
elegantly they swoop down before beginning the ascent
wines of god
devils voices in the forests
in the nights
the path in the mountains is wet after rain
wake up
dancing at the lakes
dancing in the forests
dancing in the fire

claws of steel with fingertips of burning gold
entering the crevices of the mountains
predator beasts in the night
blood-shot eyes of the steers
eyes like tear drops of pristine animals

celebrating the beauty of life
with both hands in the air like burning in trance
descending into the layers of life and screaming
in hunger for the lust for life

beats of the drums on the islands
we play till the fingers bleed
from dawn to dawn the party is touched
with the naked screaming joy of those who attend
the soul burn in these flames next to the waves of the ocean
I have just begun to write
I have just begun the journey

I look at the stars
I look at the trees
I look at the ocean
I look at the animals
I look at the tears
